Smart Stewardship for Nonprofits: April 23

4/4/2013

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (HFPG) is bringing in highly acclaimed author  Peter Brinckerhoff to speak at a seminar for nonprofits on April 23.  Please join me--three others from our organization may attend. No charge.

Smart Stewardship for Nonprofits

Featuring Peter Brinckerhoff, award winning author, trainer and consultant

Tuesday, April 23, 2013
8:00 to 11:30 a.m.
(8:00 to 8:30 – Continental breakfast and registration)
Marriott Hotel – Farmington, CT, 15 Farm Springs Road

Do you have the tools to help you make the best decisions for your nonprofit in good times as well as in crises?  Do you regularly engage your board, staff and stakeholders in making mission-driven decisions?

This session, based on Peter Brinckerhoff’s newest book, Smart Stewardship for Nonprofits: Making the Right Decision in Good Times and Bad, will show you how to become a savvy steward of your organization’s resources, create a culture that incorporates your mission and values into everything you do, and develop a decision making framework to help the board and staff to implement more mission-driven strategies.  The session will also help your organization to better understand and evaluate the implications of growth, going to scale or staying small.

For Executive Directors, Board Members and Consultants

The RSVP deadline is Thursday, April 11th.
