Bike Walk Connecticut was invited to work on a project this fall with the Connecticut Office of Tourism to capture interesting and engaging views of the state – through a cyclist’s eyes!

The state will use our cycling footage (either video or photo) for the CTvisit social media accounts to help both residents and visitors see the state from a different perspective. We'd love your help!

Here's how you can get involved for your photos or videos to be considered being featured:
  • Film GoPro video of your ride – Showcase the best fall foliage, the most scenic trails or roads from a unique vantage point using a GoPro camera
    • Please keep your video to 60 seconds or less
    • Please record video with the 1080p (16:9) resolution setting
    • Submit your clips to bikewalkct@bikewalkct.org with TOURISM in the subject line.  Be sure your message includes where the footage was taken.
  • Submit unique fall photos – In the spirit of the state's brand, Connecticut still revolutionary, please share your Revolutionary Views from your bicycle with us.
    • Submit up to 3 of your best photos to bikewalkct@bikewalkct.org with TOURISM in the subject line.  Be sure your message includes where the shot was taken.
  • Be part of a few article round-ups they are writing:
    • What are the best cycling routes for coffee-lovers (perhaps that have a great coffee shop along the way, or at the end?)
    • What are the routes that offer cyclists a the best rewarding bite to eat at the end?
    • What are the top trails for cyclists who are more of a mosey rider than Tour de France?
    • Send your suggestions to bikewalkct@bikewalkct.org with TOURISM in the subject line.
All published submissions will be given proper photo/video credit.

In case you're unfamiliar, Connecticut has an enthusiastic and robust community of more than 200,000 fans / followers across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.
