BTW Pledge Update: Hartford Takes No. 3 Spot; Bumps Wethersfield From The Medals

5/7/2014

As we head closer to Bike to Work Day 2014, pledge collection continues and as of right now we have 327 pledges and counting…though some communities (Hi, there, Stamford!) could surely use more pledges:

  • Wethersfield falls…but for how long? Secure in the No. 3 spot just days ago, Hartford has pulled ahead with 16 pledges. West Hartford still leads with 42 pledges while Waterbury hangs in at No. 2 with 29.
  • Top 3 Agencies kept their lineup with DCF as the far and away leader with 86 pledges, while DEEP  holds 23 while Corrections has 15.
  • With 11 Pledges, Trinity College leads the private sector/colleges list with one pledge. Pratt & Whitney drops to No. 2 with 10 pledges while UConn Health has 6.

In the time it took a BikeWalkCT staffer to type this, it could have changed…and it will for sure if you take the pledge!
