 Bike month challenge

(Virtual) Bike month challenge

Join us this bike month for a fun and exciting challenge! Keep track of how many miles you ride throughout the month of May and compete with other bicyclists throughout the state to fundraise- and maybe even win a prize! Even if we're slowly getting back into the swing of things, we can still have a  productive, healthy, and awesome bike month!

How it works

Sign up here using umbali. Follow the instructions to set up your account. Once its set up,  you can share on your twitter or facebook to help people fundraise for your page. For tracking the miles, we will be using an app called strava. Once your account is set up, it will direct you to connect a strava account- if you don't have one, its easy to set up- and free.

The whole process to sign up won't take more than 10 minutes.

Things to keep in mind

You don’t have to ride any given route, its just a way to virtually show your progress

You can log miles by linking your strava account or by a manual submission

There will be a leaderboard where we can track progress and there will be prizes for the top 3 people who fundraise the most

Its not a timed event , participants will have the whole month to finish the 100 miles and to raise as much money as they can

Participants do not need to complete the whole 100 or so miles - Its a challenge to see if they could complete it in within the bike month of May!
