Bike Walk Connecticut directors sign a board member agreement and conflict of interest policy annually.  This year we'll skip the paper and handle them electronically.

2015 GL, D+O Insurance

D & O Certificate (2015-2016)     D & O Master Policy  
Sat. 1/31/15 - The annual review process was completed for Bike Walk CT's General Liability and D+O insurance policies, and both policies were renewed. The terms and options change every  year.
  • Coverage runs from 2/1 through 1/31.
  • Our GL policy allows us to conduct  up to 26 rides per year where no registration fees are collected.  Avg number of riders must be 50 or fewer.
  • Fundraiser rides still require separate event insurance, charged on a per rider basis.
  • Our coverage for bike ed classes is based on our using only LCIs for instruction.
  • GL policy cost is $575/year.
  • D&O policy cost is $358/yr for $1MM coverage.

Board packages contain the agenda and supporting documents for the current month's meeting, as well as minutes from the previous meeting.  For example, the Jan 2014 board package contains the minutes from the Dec 2013 board meeting.

  • Dec 9:  Focus is Annual Appeal, year end review, nominations, completing 2016 budget
